Personal information

We collect the personal data that you make available to us through our website. The personal data processed by us are visible in the “My account” area of the website www.horizonsboutique.ch.

Information collected automatically

When browsing our site, we automatically and anonymously collect the history of the pages visited as well as information concerning interactions on a page. We also identify the language of your browser to direct you to the corresponding version of our multilingual site. We use this information for statistical purposes to improve the user experience on our site.

Comments

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form as well as your IP address and the user agent of your browser are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.

An anonymized string created from your e-mail address (also known as a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The confidentiality clauses of the Gravatar service are available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After validation of your comment, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Navigation

For uniform presentation of fonts, our pages sometimes use Google web fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the necessary font into your browser’s cache to display text and fonts appropriately.

For this purpose, your browser must establish a direct connection with Google’s servers. Thus, Google learns that our web page has been visited by your IP address. The use of Google web fonts allows a uniform and attractive presentation of our content.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer instead.

Data processing for contractual purposes is mandatory, as this is necessary for the registration, purchase of products or the use of certain services.

Data processing for legal purposes is mandatory, as this is required by applicable laws. If you do not provide any data, it will not be possible to provide the products or services you have requested.

Data processing for advertising purposes is not compulsory and requires your prior consent, which can be revoked at any time.

4.1 Transmission of data to third parties

We do not pass your data on to unauthorized third parties. In addition, we guarantee that we have concluded the necessary order processing contracts with external operators. Some of these service providers have their headquarters in third countries (United States) but have obtained certification guaranteeing compliance with the data protection agreement between the United States and Europe “Privacy Shield” and therefore the level data protection regulations in force in the EU.

In addition, we pass your data on to third parties insofar as this is necessary for the use of the website and contractual processing (also outside the website), namely the processing of your orders. This includes the transport service provider who has been entrusted with shipping the ordered goods. In this context, the partner can also inform you of the delivery status of your packages. Our web host is a service provider to which the personal data collected through the website is transmitted or who has or may have access to it. The site is hosted on servers in Switzerland. The data is transmitted for the purpose of providing and maintaining the functionality of our website. This is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 bed. f EU GDPR.

Finally, we will transmit your credit card information to your credit card issuer and the acquirer when you pay by credit card on the website. If you decide to pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter all the necessary information. The legal basis for the transfer of data is the execution of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 bed. b EU GDPR. Regarding the processing of your credit card data by these third parties, please also read the terms and conditions and the data protection declaration of your credit card issuer.

4.2 Data transmission outside Switzerland and the EU

We are entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties (authorized service providers) abroad for the purposes of data processing described in this data protection declaration. They are bound to data protection to the same extent as we are. If the level of data protection in a country does not correspond to that of Switzerland respectively EU, we contractually ensure that the protection of your personal data at all times corresponds to that of Switzerland respectively EU.

You have the right to request confirmation of the processing or non-processing of your personal data at any time from horizons boutique and to obtain information about your personal data. In addition, you have the right to rectify, delete or restrict the processing of data and you also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data and to revoke your authorization to process your personal data at any time, or to require the transfer of data.

We keep your personal information in order to allow you to continuously use the horizons boutique services, for a period necessary for the achievement of the relevant purposes under the conditions described in this Notice, for a period necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations such as tax or accounting obligations, or for any other period that may have been communicated to you. For example, we keep your transaction history so that you can consult your previous orders (and re-order if you wish) and your delivery addresses for the said orders and to improve the relevance of the products and content that we recommend to you.

7.1. General rules

As data accountable, horizons boutique takes all the necessary precautions to preserve the security and confidentiality of data and in particular, to prevent it from being distorted, damaged, or from unauthorized third parties having access to it.

When using subcontractors, horizons boutique ensures that they comply with data protection rules.

We protect the security of your personal information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer Software (SSL) which encrypts the information you enter before it is sent to us.

We maintain physical, electronic security and backup procedures in connection with the collection, retention and disclosure of personal customer information. Our security procedures may require us to ask you for proof of your identity before we can share your personal information with you.

Our devices have security features to protect them from unauthorized access or loss of information.

It is important to protect yourself from unauthorized access to your password and to your computers, devices, and applications. If you share a computer, you must log out after each use.

7.2. Rules applicable to bank data and bank card

We follow the security standards of the Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS) when processing payment card data. This standard is an international security standard whose objectives are to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of cardholder data, and thus to secure the protection of card and transaction data.

In order to avoid re-entering your bank details during future orders, you can choose, by checking the acceptance box provided for this purpose, that your bank cards be associated with your online account.

You can consult the list of your saved cards (in hidden mode), but also delete all or part of its content, in the “Means of payment” section of the “My orders” section of “My Account”. In this case, your deleted cards will no longer appear in your online account or in future orders.

If you have chosen to register your bank cards, they will be automatically deactivated at the end of the card’s validity date.

7.3. Fight against internet fraud

In order to secure payments and deliveries and ensure optimal quality of service, the personal data collected on the site is also processed by horizons boutique to determine the level of risk of fraud associated with each order and, if necessary, to help modulate the conditions of execution thereof.

9.1. Principles applicable to horizons boutique

10.1. What is a cookie?

By modifying or publishing a comment, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data. It just says the ID of the post you just edited. It expires after a day.
